Graham T won £152,657 on Deal or No Deal last Thursday (28th August). We managed to get him on the phone for a quick chat and here’s what he had to say about his win.
‘I'm still a bit shocked. It's the kind of thing that happens to everybody else and never to you. I think the best word for it is pure disbelief. I just sat at the screen stunned.’
So who was the first person you told?
‘I ran upstairs to wake my wife and let her know. She had to go to work that day, so I sent her off stunned and dazed. I've only told close family at the moment.’
It was clear from Graham’s voice that a week on he was still amazed at the life changing amount of money he had won.
‘My first plan of action is to reduce the mortgage, it's a big burden for anyone, especially now. This money will make a real difference. I think we'll spend a bit of the money, give some away and save the rest.’
There were no surprises when we asked Graham what was his favourite game on Jackpotjoy was now he had felt the real joy of a big money jackpot.
