'I sooo loved footie when I was a teenage girl!!! All the local lads played footie in the park and we young jezebels used to get ourselves all dolled up an go ogle them lol. "My mum was in hospital last year and she had her own room. I went to the toilet and there was a red cord so I assumed it was the flush for the toliet so I pressed and pressed and it still wouldn’t work and then I realised it wasn’t. Then my sis went to go to the bathroom in the midst of that a couple of nurses came rushing in to my mother’s room with these heart differabtors and injections. It was madness! My mum said she didn’t call and was OK but they wouldn’t take no for an answer pmsl so they had to check her out. It turned out I pressed the emergency cord in the bathroom and I blamed it on my sister as she was the last person to use the toilet but really I confess it was me!"

I unplugged my hubbys tropical fish tank (his prize possession) to vac up then plugged it back in when i had finished. I woke up next morning to hubby screaming so I went to see what was up wi' him. All fish were dead. Turns out I'd forgotten to switch it back on so I told him the kids must of been messing with it. The poor things got a right telling off. I didn't know at time the fish were really expensive. Still to this day he doesn't know. I feel bad on kids (honest) but he would have killed me!!! Forgive me Paddy for I have sinned, its been far too long since my last confession....
A few years ago, my Mum and Dad and Aunt and Uncle all had tickets to a show in the town to see a famous 60’s band.. The tickets were “reserved” and waiting at the venue. They were excited, as they were fans of the band back in their day. They were dressed up to the nines and as excited as a classroom of 14 year old girls at a JLS concert.
Two hours later, they returned, looking...unamused; my Uncle was steaming. He assured my Mum & Dad that “heads would roll”. When they calmed down, I managed to get to the bottom of it. It seems they got to the venue and there were no tickets at the Box Office. My Uncle had “reserved” the tickets with a barmaid and was meant to have paid for them when they arrived. But the barmaid HADNT made the reservation and all the tickets had been sold. In the end they went to the pub to drown their sorrows with pints of Fosters and bottles of their House Red.
The following morning, they emerged looking worse for wear, in particular my Uncle, who had been awake most of the night stewing. Over breakfast he announced he was going to “have it out with the manager”. All morning he was going on about what had happened and tbh, we were all fed up with it. Mum said she couldn’t wait for them to go home so she could have some peace and quiet. That gave me an idea....
I went up into my bedroom, fiddled with my mobile phone so that my number was withheld when I made a call, and dialled my Uncles number.
“Hello” he answered
“Good Afternoon” I said in my poshest English accent “Is that Mr Jones?”
“Yes it is” he replied “Who is this?”
“Good Afternoon Mr Jones, My name is Sally Jarvis and I am the Duty Manager at the Kings Hotel, it appears you had reserved a table for our show last night but didn’t turn up. I'm sorry to have to inform you that even though you didn’t see our show, we are going to have to invoice you for the tickets as you didn’t cancel them and give us time to sell the tickets”
As you can imagine, my Uncle exploded, called me absolutely everything under the sun, plus a few other words I’d never even heard of! How I managed to keep my cool I will never know, but I insisted that I would be sending the invoice to his house.
Ten minutes later I went back downstairs to be greeted by virtual silence. Mum was sitting at the kitchen table deep in thought, Dad and my Aunt and Uncle were nowhere to be seen. I asked my Mum where they were and she replied “ Uncle John has gone to the hotel to “give that snotty nosed manager” a piece of his mind and Auntie Rose and Dad had followed him to make sure he didn’t end up on an assault charge.
As it turned out, he didn’t get arrested for assault..... just breach of the peace lol
To this day, no one knows who Ms Jarvis was, but it got my Uncle out of our house and meant I could watch the Eastenders Omnibus in peace!

"My parents had paid extra for me to have additional maths lessons at GCSE time so were expecting a lot from me, however id spend the holidays partying instead of revising...eeek!!! A friend told me that she'd heard of someone who had had fainted or something during an exam and that due to those exceptional circumstances they had taken it ito consideration and altered her marks accordingly!
Well......... I had to give it a go didn't i???
In the middle of my maths exam i pretended to hyperventilate, and being a teenager could turn on the waterworks with excellence! They took me out of the room for 20 minutes and made a right old fuss of me.
When the results came i got a C......woohoooooo (a pass is a pass!)
So im very sorry mr examining board and all me old teachers but if there were grades for creativeness i'd have got an A lol"

"When I used to work in an office many moons ago, my boss used to pick me up in his BMW at the bottom of my road, as he only lived a few roads away from us. It was a freezing icy day and we lived on the top of a hill. So I walked down the hill when I saw him pull up in his car. I thought to myself how cold and it was a bit breezy up my legs - my suspenders seemed to be flapping in the wind!!
Anyway, got to work and got down to sorting out the accounts etc., and after an hour or so I needed the loo.
Went to pull my knickers down and hey ho - no knickers!!! I'd only forgot to put them on!!!
I'd wondered why it had been so cold and breezy walking down that hill!!
I had to admit to my boss what I'd done (which was very embarrassing as he was a bit of a hunk!!), and he drove me home to get my knickers!!!"

'I had left the eggs on - so I spent a good hour cleaning everywhere and then walked down to the shop - as I came round the corner - there was a crowd outside the shop and I couldn't understand why - as I came through the crowd I realised why - I had only locked two customers in the shop - they were totally distraught and were knocking on the window to passers by to attract their attention and shouting help!'
